It’s been a while since I’ve written about where I’m up to in reading my way through Agatha Christie’s crime fiction novels and short stories. In fact it’s been months since I last read an Agatha Christie book!
The list of the books I’ve already read is on this page. I still have many of the short stories to read but just four novels!!
I’m aiming to read these four remaining novels by the end of this year:
- The Murder at the Vicarage – (Miss Marple)
- Death Comes as the End
- Sparkling Cyanide (Colonel Race)
- Destination Unknown
Funnily enough I’m reading The Murder at the Vicarage right now… while I’m on holiday. My first ever Miss Marple believe it or not. Really enjoying it.

Well it’s a good place to start as it’s the first of the Miss Marple books. I’ve read them totally out of order and so find myself reading this one last!

Ooh, The Murder at the Vicarage is one of my very favourite of her books – I think only The Moving Finger tops it! Hope you enjoy it!

I loved The Moving Finger too – and Agatha Christie described it in her Autobiography as a book she was really pleased with.

Impressive, Margaret! I really ought to go back through Christie’s work chronologically. I haven’t done that in a systematic way.
