It was my second book by Fiennes, I had read his Snow Geese, a non fiction and enjoyed that too. I enjoy a quiet read and these, though powerful in places, satisfied me that way. I wanted more too but perhaps that's a good sign of his storytelling ability. Thanks for reviewing it. Let's hope he writes more. I read and enjoyed this book.
