I may have missed this, Margaret, but have you read Rankin’s new book, ‘The Complaints’? It’s definitely a winner and I hope the beginning of a new series.

Bernadette, If you haven’t read his first one Knots and Crosses I think I’d start with that. The short stories would be OK too.

Do you think this might be a good one for someone like me who has never read many of the Rebus books? I’d like to try the character again but can never think where to start.
