I haven't read a Kingsolver novel in awhile but her Animal, Vegetable, Miracle changed my life--I got much more serious about eating locally and growing/preserving more of our food. Fabulous book.

Love the Bryson on Shakespeare book--enjoy.

I feel the same as the joyfully retired Margot about "Pigs in Heaven". B. Kingsolver has an amazing way to bring her characters to life, even when the circumstances are not likely to happen in real life. Happy speed reading.

I enjoyed Pigs in Heaven and I'll be interested to hear what you think about Bryson's book on Shakespeare. I've never read him, but Elizabethan England rocks. I consider you brave to take on a 7 day book. I'm convinced that I'll forget to return it.

Pigs in Heaven is one of my favorite stories. It was Kingsolver's debut novel and had me hooked on her ever since. I also like Bryson but haven't read this one. Sounds like you have a lot of enjoyable hours ahead of you.

Good choices there, can't wait to see what you think of Dewey. I am so tempted to buy it.
