Griff and his faithful companion Cadbury, entertained my wife, teenage daughter and myself throughout this excellent series, the production values and Griffs easy presenting style, were a joy to watch. We look forward to more of his shows.

Margaret, do you still subscribe to new books magazine? I received mine today and have chosen my free book as ‘The Book of Unholy Mischief’ , what will your choice be?

I have been enjoying this series, too – I was lucky because he started with the rivers I knew when I was growing up, so it was hugely nostalgic. Even the utterly bleak shots of Rannoch Moor brought back memories.

Hope the house sale goes well. Your day in London sounds very interesting, his enthusiasm is catching .
I also have the Alison Weir book on Mary, Queen of Scots but have not got round to starting it yet. Too many books here!!!
