I just finished The Coffin Trail this evening. A good read although I was on to the murderer about half way through but totally missed the motive. Will definitely read more in this series. Thank you, Margaret!

Gentle Reader and Kerrie I hope you can get this series of books, I enjoyed them so much.
Cath, it is best to start at the beginning (although I didn’t – I read the last one first). Our library has all three but I enjoyed them so much that after I borrowed the third one I put them on my Amazon wishlist and my husband bought them for me at Christmas.

I assume it’s better to start at the beginning with this series? I shall check to see if my library has a copy of The Coffin Trail. Ex-Watchdog presenter, Julia Bradbury, has a series on BBC3 or 4 where she’s doing Wainwright’s coast to coast walk. She’s just completed the Lake District stretch which was absolutely stunning. Must try these books.

I love the Lake District (love instilled by a visit when I was a teenager) so I’m sure I would love this book. I’ll have to look for it here in the states…
