I recently finished reading Les Miserables and I fell in love with it. To be honest, though, I skimmed past several of the digressions (esp Waterloo) so I think I'll have to re-read it sometime in the future.
I don't want to give anything away, but the second half of the book is very poetic and beautifully written - quite different from the earlier chapters.

Happy reading :)

Memory, how intriguing. I hope I enjoy it as much as you did.
Gautami right now I cannot imagine I shall ever re-read Les Miserables, it is so long and detailed, as though Hugo can't leave anything out as he keeps going off at all sorts of tangents.

Huck Finn is one of my favourite classics. It contains my very favourite moment in all of literature. I won't tell you what it is, as it's pretty spoilerish, but it's absolutely worth waiting for.

I hope you enjoy the book, and all the others you have on the go!
